Moving to Auckland in 1989 with a young family and focusing on developing our small technology based business, joining Rotary was not in my radar but after an invitation to attend a Rotary Takapuna North club meeting several years later I learned that belonging to Rotary would help me expand my business and personal network while being involved in many very worthwhile community projects, locally, nationally and in the Pacific.

I like the informal and friendly way Rotary Takapuna North operated while at the same time having a can-do no-nonsense attitude to getting the job done.

Over the last 20 years Rotary has been an important part of my life on the North Shore creating many lasting friendships. I have enjoyed taking part in many roles including various directorship roles plus one year as

President. Now retired the community involvement of Rotary Takapuna North still serves me well.
